Do you think your CV conveys your entire personality to the recruiter? What do you think should be added to ones CV in order to make it stand out?

Most recruiters use job portals and websites to judge candidates. The criteria these candidates are assessed on is; Job experience, Number of years they have been in the field, qualifications, languages and lastly, accomplishments of the candidates. Most CVs fail to convey a candidates entire personality, some CVs are a summation of the candidates entire life, whereas some have empty gaps in them.

A recruiters job is difficult as they have over candidates for each position, narrowing it down to the top candidates to interview is a difficult task, not to mention, most companies provide a time period allocated to hiring the professional, the more time taken, the more investment in the right candidate and the pressure on the recruiter is just going up.

Do you feel that you will be judged appropriately according to your CV in a sea of+ applicants?

From how i see it, your CV is your ticket to the spotlight and that spotlight is the interview. It does not have to have a bright colors, nice photo, exceptional achievements and skills, it merely needs to convey a message that you are the right fit for the job that you apply for.

Obviously one cannot determine what someones personality trait is like through a sheet of paper, that is not something any professional recruiter would do, that is why a screening and shortlisting process is in place, be it through a phone call or meeting for a casual conversation. As a recruiter, i don't believe in putting my candidates under pressure because this would only incite a forced behavior onto the candidate wherein he would put up fake personality just to impress me, I like to conversate with my candidates to make sure that they are in their best form and i can get to see who, what and how they really are as people.

To answer your question, nothing should be added to a standard CV, but i will say this, keep the CV mysterious enough to intrigue the recruiter but concise enough to pique his/her curiousity.

CV conveys your skills and qualifications, and not exactly the applicant's personality. Recruitment/hiring staff searches for keywords in CVs that will match their company's needs; and this being stated, it only takes a short time for them to scan one's CV. This is the reason applicants should make sure their CV looks "attractive" to the hiring staff.

Yes, some time it indicate candidates personality upto some extents such as mental ability may reflects from his educational background and in CVs where person having some experience have better idea of field than an unexperienced candidate who never seen the work field but still a person without experience may perform better than the experienced because of new skill he may have learned because of advancement of technology and the inexperienced person may come with new mental ability in the field. We all know the well known line i.e. practice makes man perfect, thus a person with experience would perform well .

the recruiter is not looking for your personality in your cv he is checking if your skills and experience are matching the job requirement in the next step in the interview he will try to understand your personality.

CV does not convey your entire personality, it gives some information about education, about your background, about your professional score. It is the first step to call a person for interview or not. Its play very important role to call a person for interview among a mass. Its helps to employer to call right candidate for desired profile.

CV will give just an idea of a person's qualifications and experience. But personality will be a totally different thing which can be assessed in the intreview. However, a good presentaiton in CV will attract recruiters and chances to a job is more.

The experience says, It totally varies person to person in which particular area he/she poses expertise.  It should be generic and specific ! the person should go on a dedicated track as it gives more clarity to the recruiters. however, it won't helps you to understand the applicant completely but it gives you the basic knowledge upon which you can judge more efficiently.
