The Boeing 727-200 is the predecessor the record breaking Boeing 737's. Unlike the 737's, the 727's come with a 3 engine configuration. While the 737's has two engines mounted on it's wings, the 727's has its engine mounted at the rear, near the tail section. Two engines on either side of the tail and one mounted on the tail base.
