Primavera and ms project, comment the difference?

BOTH OF THEM ARE USED FOR THE SAME PURPOSE BUT PRAMAVERA IS SPECIALIZED AND MOR EFFECIENT THAN MS..

I USE PRAMAVERA FOR ALL MY ELECTRICAL PROJECTS AND IT'S THE MOST POPULAR PROGRAM WITH ORHER ENGINEERS LIKE CIVIL OR MECHANICAL . SO WHEN WE WORK TOGATHER IN A SPECIFIC PROJECT THE MANAGING WILL BE IN THE SAME FILE 

Both Softwares are used effectively in project management.

MS project is easy to learn and simple to use with knowledge of using Excel but the difficult to track errors in the chain of activites. Group and Sort in MS is limited

Primavera is complex and needs to experiece to work on it. Various factors ca be entered into that can affect the project. tracking the source of errors in a  schedule is easier. Able to group and sort in various manners using WBS or activity codes.

Primavera is enterprise level. Microsoft Project doesn’t allow multiple users to work on a single project at the same time, Primavera does.

In Microsoft Project, 11 baselines can be created for a project. In Primavera P6, unlimited baselines can be created and as many as four of these baselines can be assigned at any one time to a schedule

Microsoft Project lacks a feature for tracking project issues or risks. Primavera P6 can record issues and risks against a project, WBS element or activity.

Professional offers a Hint Help toggle feature that explains the values and calculations for a column when the cursor is placed on the field. No equivalent feature exists in Microsoft Project.
