When we have inbox flooding with 200+ resumes, 100+ more queries  just within few hours from starting the day, it is not possible to respond to everyone. Thus only shortlisted or in process are kept informed.

Because they are not bound to respond if they are not hiring. And honestly people do share their CVs not relevant to job position announced. in such case employer losses a lot of time to find out the relevant CV.

Yes,It is usually happen.Hon'ble Employers have their own reservations for this issue & applicant no have right to comment for his disappointment. First of all Management have limited positions, they may recive more than the expectation & it is common.Hence,It is the departmental head's decisions to select the minimum applications which supported their required potentials. Most of the Applicant will miss this opportunity .

The employer is receiving big number of CV's on daily bases from different resources.

 

When the applicant walk in and fill the job application to certain job which is not available ,Surely the employer will not response.

 

The employer may respond on the job application after conducting first interview with the candidate who may from the shortlisted
