Unfortunately its true and its been reported from a couple of high rice consumption countries.Presumed the origin is from China but its finding its way all across and is definitey not nutritious and not fit for consumption..

This is really a very big hoax. The fact is startch present in some foods acts like plastic upon cooking. it also burns like plastic. Always verify the facts first. It takes lot of finance, effort and time to produce plastic rice... to be produced in large quantities..!!!
