Boss is always the boss and customer is always the customer neither may be right but we treat them as such because both of them can cause business disaster if not taken care of.
Every human being has merit and demerits. However, our BOSS is also a human. Mistakes can happen with everyone, but 99% boss is right.The reason is he will be having strategy to grow his business, he has invested in the business . If the manager is our boss the strategy comes from main boss so we need to act according to the manager. We try to explain if any loss happens to the business or share our ideas that may be sometimes it may be good.
To keep your-self on Safe side definitely Boss is always right unless he's doing something that will impact the business you should warn him.
As a manager you would like to think that you have all the answers and are never wrong, however that isn't always true. I think if you honestly believe that as a manager you are always right you may not be as successful as you think. I think our employees have a lot of knowledge in some of the aspects of their jobs that we may have forgotten once we were promoted. I think you should always keep an open mind and listen to your employees, praise them well for contributing and try to learn as much from them as they learn from you.
