Dominant cultures are limited and stiff - no innovations, no flexibility, and no resilience. People who behave the same way, cover a small area of opportunities. Cultures become dominant just before the fall.

Diversified organizations need a common corporate culture, in order to integrate and benefit from the positive aspects of the various cultures. They cover a  much larger area of possibilities. They are open and agile - perspectives, adaptability, and power. Cultures become viable by exploiting the variety.

Organization should have a diversify employees culture because everyone there has grown with some beliefs, different people with different mindset when used intelligently can be more productive than dominant culture. Moreover, these people has see different kinds of world so one culture can teach another culture a task which might be difficult for other culture to perform. On the other hand if we talk about innovation, brain storming done by vivid cultures can provide some serious ideas to the company.

A real thanks to Mr. Tariq for this opportunity to participate in a so crucial debate for the future of us all (there is only 'One World' and it's so small :) !

I feel I can add very little to previous brilliant answers by Mr. Lapp and Mr. Jhawar.

Nevertheless, it may be worth noting that the above mentioned contents are well confirmed (and even reinforced) in a historical and evolutionary perspective:

with reference to the former please consider, among the others, some relevant periods like the ancient Phoenicians explorations (and 'contaminations' in a great cultural sense) outside the so-called Hercules Pillars and, more recently, the Italian Renaissance with its multicultural echoes coming from a number of foreign countries, inside and outside Europe.

With reference to the latter, first of all consider the Darwinism acclaiming biodiversity as the fulcrum of vital elements selection and whole natural processes improvement.

Of course, being not a philosopher but definitely a down to earth professional, more competent and indepth analysis are welcomed and very much appreciated :)

Siddhant,

Your clear expression and convincing logic have furthered my belief in diversification
