If you must choose between experienced and new employees in customer service industry, what would be your choice and why?

experienced, will save your time and money training new ones and wait till they gain experience 

I would give an equal chance to both so as to assess the diverse skill set that they offer. New employees have the advantage of being more motivated than experienced ones, in most cases!
