The computer is too sluggish in it's performance,what could be the possible causes?

This problem happens when working with different applications within your computer. The response time is too slow for a certain operation.

If you are looking for a quick service to fix the slowness issue, then try (ccleaner).

Scan your temp files and delete them.  It has the ability to scan registry and fix you registry files also but this is optional (registry scanner).

In most cases performance is effected by temp file stored in your pc cache.

I recomend also to reduce the size of startup files. Type msgconfig in run. go to startup tab and un-check the software which you don't need on start up

it's either you have a full memory or there's a virus on your computer

go to system properties and change the value virtual memory. again it shows clean the temporary files, clean registry etc, finally increase RAM size.

You need to upgrade your RAM and defragment your Hard disk or clean it !!
