How can I use engineering in my everyday life?

Up to great extent, it is giving new horizons to young engineers. They can guess about new technology and design.

Organise every thing...make schedule...put priorities at the top of your list...record..

Life is full of problems that need to be solved, think of an application or a problem that need to be solved, prepare your tools, think of a solution, then apply the solution.

i can say more definition but i choose best one for me : engineers are people who solve problems and focus on making things work more efficiently and effectively
