I dont see how you can demonstrate your IT security skills use social media platforms mentioned here. Seriously how are you supposed to demonstrate your latest App Security Patch on Linkedin?

Your should get on Stack Overflow & Github or any open source community, to meet people from your line of work or security programmers.
