JobsterRyzeEcademy, and ExecuNet.

Eons is a virtual network for Americans aged 50-plus, with broad content that sometimes includes job suggestions. Classmates.com is more for “that old gang of mine” connections but sports a work-and-career section where you can look for acquaintances by company. Zoominfo isn't a virtual network, but can deliver some of the same results for job seekers in that it is a search engine for discovering people, companies, and relationships.

I dont see how you can demonstrate your IT security skills use social media platforms mentioned here. Seriously how are you supposed to demonstrate your latest App Security Patch on Linkedin?

Your should get on Stack Overflow & Github or any open source community, to meet people from your line of work or security programmers.

You can use LinkedIn as an option. LinkedIn has a newsfeed feature where you can promote your business by creating blog posts that feature things your company is doing. I would only post when there is relevant information that is newsworthy. You can also create a business page online and promote your website across different social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter. Facebook has an advertisement feature which you have to pay for, but the level of exposure you gain is good. Twitter is all on you, so link your website in your tweets and post relevant information always.
