Most students don't want to study because they find studying repulsive to their current life condition. It is aided by poor teaching methods, lots of distractions in life and not able to understand that learning is part of life. 

Therefore, to make study interesting, at first, a learning environment should be created. It should include a practical and more attractive approach to teaching. Another important aspect is the concepts should be taught in a fun way and make it part of life. This can be achieved by engaging the students interactively. A young child loves sounds and picture. So any learning approach should include those things. A primary and middle student require the everyday examples to understand concepts. A high school student requires the concepts to be easy to understand. The basics and fundamentals should be taught in a carefully demonstrated environment. They need demo and practicals.
