Who is "Student Teacher"?

Student Teacher is a person who studies to be a teacher and doing teaching  practice under the supervision of a certified teacher

A student teacher, pupil-teacher (historical) or prac teacher (practice teacher) is a college, university or graduate student who is teaching under the supervision of a certified teacher in order to qualify for a degree in education.

The term is also often used interchangeably with "Pre-Service Teacher". It is a much broader term to include those students that are studying the required coursework in pedagogy, as well as their specialty, but have not entered the supervised teaching portion of their training. In many institutions "Pre-Service Teacher" is the official and preferred title for all education students. [1]

 

Pupil teacher also used to refer to a senior pupil who acted as a teacher of younger children, which in the19th and early20th centuries was a common step on the road to becoming a professional teacher for intelligent boys and girls - often from a less affluent background who were unable to attend Teacher's College for even a short period.

If you are a student studying to be a teacher someday, then you are literally a student teacher.

On the other hand, after you graduate, you become a student teacher as you move on to teach in a school. Life is learning in two stages, institutional, and life. After we teachers have hurdled and overcame the first, we enter the second stage.

Nope, let us be honest to ourselves. No one can claim that one is a perfect teacher after graduation, even if one has earned the highest of all the highest of highest highs honors while being in the university. One just learned and got equipped with the fundamentals in a school, and the schools of the outside world is uniquely different-- from one another, from each culture or environment, from each individual upbringing. This, is where the real teaching-learning experience happen, for a teacher. This , is where you grow up to be a matured teacher, a scholar, as you teach and learn your way through.

In the long run, the process we undergo will define us as complete teachers after we were able to self-govern and taught ourselves to adopt, adapt, teach and learn, in all the dimensions of teachings where we put ourselves in.

It is a good way for learners who have some difficulties in in receiving information so the teacher would give his/her role for such students under his perseverance in order to give the student a chance to read & analyze & explain for other students

A students teacher is a teacher learner who joins one of the Education school programs to become a professional teacher in the future. Teachers do this to sharpen their experiences with more knowledge and academics to master more strategies and skills to handle in a class in a positive way that helps students learn more.
