What is the difference between tradition and custom?

Tradition is kind of regulation related to region where as custom is somehow related to grour of people I.e. cast.

I do not see a big difference between them. Anyhow a tradition, in the traditional [general historic] sense, means the way things have generally been done over history. Customs on the other hand refers to the specific ways of doing things... according to customs or rules.

tradition is something like culture people used to it and u can't change in the other hand custom is the opposite thing people have a choice in it i think
