Is the concept of bench-marking practice in the Middle East business arena, workable ?

Answer is both at this stage big business are majority state corporation or supported by the Government. Bench marking with similar business in private sector means the data may not be accurate. On other hand the shift is to make the state owned corporation run more like a private corporation so with time it is a workable solution
