What are the aims of explode command in AutoCAD?

The EXPLODE command allows you to change a grouped item into its individual elements so it can be edited. 

Used to explode a compound object and so that we can select and use each parts separately.

Breaks a compound object into its component objects. Explodes a compound object when you want to modify its components separately. Objects that can be exploded include blocks, polylines, and regions, among others.

explode command is used to break a compound object to select or edit parts of the object individually.

to break the compound object to its original parts and then you can use its particular parts in different usages

With explode command we can break a compound object into the parts. like polyline into lines 

Allows for modification of individual features but block editor is better because once you explode you can't reverse.

for converting a big object or polyline into multiple selectable object o line end edit individually

the explode command is used to select an object of various sides to edit each side individually

Explode command is mainly used to break the entities used in the blocks.
