Although non-native English teachers can be fluent and competent enough, they are usually excluded from teaching opportunities announced in different countries.
It is a misconception the employer could think of, as though it is not about first tongue, it should be about the qualification & experience. These kind of employers think that they are the best to give the job to the native ones and they also give them high salaries in comparing to non English speakers teachers.
Most of educational agencies think that a native speaker of a lanuage is better than non native speaker in my openion this theory is wrong . If the native could contact with pupils through the language he will not be able to contact with them through their culture. We are teachers not trainers
because all the companies wants those how have more experiences to do their works better.
