Customers compare two competing products upon price & quality. How do you explain that price is NOT a comparison factor between IPhone & Samsung?

By explaining the reliability of the product with regards to individual preferences in terms of quality and technology.  Now the product features and functions will set as a common factor that will differ the two competing brands. In result , while the buyer has made its final choice considering their individual preferences depending on the worth of money on the product quality and product satisfaction.

 

Aside from that we know  it that "BETTER QUALITY PAYS BETTER PRICE"

but still customer preferences  will win depend on the skills of the sales person product knowledge.

I-Phone is for status conscious people. In these two brands, the battle is not of quality or price.

There is a saying ' compare Apple to Apple and pear to pear' . I Phone nowadays a status symbol and Samsung users friendly . we cant compare them. But we can convince the customers about their different feathers like  hardware (camera , Battery )  , connectivity and storage.

Though IPhone & Samsung both are well known brands still when you compare both the features, Apple is far better than Samsung. 

Price has an direct impact on buying - That's why basic component of sales come into existence "It's not only the willing to buy but also the ability to buy"

The IPhone has an superior image in the "Minds of the consumer's" & is also an status symbol. Thus, if an individual has not only the willingness but also the ability to buy will not look into the price as higher prices are justified with increased features, operation friendly etc (And quality off-course irrelevant)

Just like comparing Apple to Orange. You eat both but you like what you like.

You cannot change that some people think  3  Oranges =1  Apple.

Sir, by being Short : Apple has to be compared with an apple & secondly both are considered differently -Can you compare the technology / brand image reliability -between korean & a chinese manufacturing - same is the difference - And that is why this is far apart with a brand registered world wide as apple . Hope, i have given you the answer Sir / Maam .

The bottom line in this question will always be the quality of a product, customer satisfaction and the spending capacity of the buyer. I for myself is a concrete example of this scenario. Given the chance to buy between iphone and samsung but still i prefer to buy samsung first because i have been a long time user of samsung products and so i am satisfied. Above all my budget is enough for samsung products.

While buying luxury goods, the motive is to acquire a status symbol.

IPhone has a higher status than Samsung.

It is because of the High technology use and a capability of the Gadget use which is the IPHONE & SAMSUNG.
