What is the best php framework to be working on ?

Its all depend on what you want to build, company support and active community. So if you're looking for good company support, secure and high performance; then Zend and Symfony2 are the best options.

If you're looking for great features, next generation framework, small light weight and active community; then Laravel, Code Igniter and Yii frameworks are the best options.

If you want PHP5 only frameworks, I recommend Kohana and Phalconphp frameworks.

There are different Framework you can use depend upon the need of your application you can choose from famous Kohana, Yii etc

Zend Framework is the best framework I have ever work on.So Is suggest it.

Honestly i tried many framework and i found yii framework is simple smooth and explain well the MVC .

recently they released  Yii2.0 i suggest to check it out ;) 

I think that symfony2 is actualy the most framework PHP but Phalcon is not bad
