You know in B2C the word of mouth has a crucial role, because satisfied customer tells about his satisfaction approximately to2-3 people and dissatisfied one tells about his/her experience to8-9 people. And that is the power of word of mouth and generally we tend to believe to our relatives rather than other sources of information.

It is definitely not an unnecessary extra effort because in B2C word of mouth is mostly the dominant of your success, and if your product exceeds the client's expectations then the client will definitely talk good words of your product and recommends it  to his family,relatives and friends THUS all satisfied.
