What is the future of management information systems? and what are the jobs available for specialty management information systems?

I believe there still exists great scope for Management Information System . Truly speak it is one of the most powerful tool for analysing and assessing how the company has progressed vis-a-vis the underlying Budget and what corrective actions need to be initiated / put in place to remain focussed towards the set targets . Finance Head and the Board at large would continue to place reliance on it although other analytical also available to assess the company's progress.
