As per Saudi Labour law who is to pay for the Public Holidays ( Eid & National Day) for the contracted labour regardless of the contract?

<p>We have labour en contract working from and the labour working without taking hteir holidays on the eid ul fitr so i would appreciate answers strictly based on the Saudi Laobur law.</p>

My dear  

As Per Labor law in Saudi Arabia 

 **Holidays holidays and Special Occasions ** 

  The employee is entitled to leave with full pay in holidays and special occasions the following- 

 

A - four days on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr starts the day following the day29 of the month of Ramadan, according to Umm Al-Qura calendar. 

B - four days on the occasion of Eid al-Adha begins on stand Arafah

C - One day on the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia , and if this happens to today's weekly day of rest or leave within a two Eids the employer shall compensate the worker last day of vacation or paid whichever is wanted additional factor .

  D - If it happens one day Eid holiday a day of rest weekly extend the leave for another day

 

This is stipulated by the labor law and workers in Saudi Arabia.

Any Employee under the Sponsorship of the company, the employer is liable to pay for Public Holidays ( Eid & National Day)

  • The calculation to compensate the work done during this holidays should be as, total number of worked hours ×1.5
  • The Employer can compensate the Total number of hours, by means of Comp Time and add this days to the Employee Annual vacation, and to be used by the employee in his/her upcoming due vacation.
