True. Regular feedback or constructive criticism is important to improve one's performance. The employee will continue doing the same thing thinking that he or she are doing the best job there is, with regular constructive feedback the employee would recognize his or her competency gaps or learn new and better ways to his or her job.

It is ttrue but one must know how to give negetive feedback in a positive way so that it is acceptable to the person.

There are some rules. Negetive fedback should alaways be given in person in a closed room while a person should be apreciated befoer others.

Negetive feedback would have adeasterous influence on the persons performance if the person is sad or angry due to some reason.
