Effective diversity related conflict resolution needs to be a collaborative process of discovery and learning that surfaces concerns for mutual solution finding. Collaboration is not possible unless both parties arrive at an openness to try as best they can to understand something of the other’s perspective. How messages are phrased can make a big difference.
