Easy rule of thumb: never offer a customer the cheaper alternative of the same product (with less option).

After carefully listening to him i will find out his exact current and future need in mind, i will offer him the suitable product.

ask him the right questions, probe in to his requirements and sell him what he needs and not what he wants. that how you retain customers for a long period.

this is so easy because i know his need  so i now guaranty that he will get one (the cheap )

but

i must try my best to make positioning the other one to make him use it .by give him the more option of it and the benefits he will get from this options . also make now counter act of the two to give him opportunity to use both.

but if he insist to have my opinion which one so i will say to him that the extra benefits will cover the areas that he needs but hidden and give him the full data that cover his needs that i know and importance of the options, which area it cover also
