I hope you are asking about Multiple Access. If it is then LTE and LTE-A both uses different Multiple Access i.e  Downlink: OFDMA Uplink: SC-FDMA

UMTS is3rd mobile generation technology for voice and data transfer, HSPA is enhancement of UMTS for high speed data tranfer.
