Stop dependence on inspection to achieve quality. Explain?

I agree with the answer of Tohamy Hussein. Identify and include steps as part of the development process that ensure quality of the product. 

Quality concept depends on establishment of a system to avoid mistakes as PDCA (plan-do-check-act). Teach professionals how to manage their operation in a systemic plan.

While "Inspection" is done after the operation completed in check part only as a policeman working role.

Continuos process improvement  improves quality,reduces errors,optimizes performance  and predicts the optimal outcome of an operation.

on the other hand resolving to just final inspection is only catching defective products after they were manufactured without influencing the process itself.

if we influence the process we will get less defect.just catching defect through inspection is a cautionary measure

Invest in training to do the things right in first attempt, rather than in inspection

Build quality into the steps of the business processes and automate measurement as much as you can to automatically detect deviations or possible oenes.

The job of the Quality Analyst is like an Inspector. But it is also like a friend and guide.

The1st step would be to convince the rep (representative serving the clients customer base) that his/her goals has to be aligned to the aims of the customer service provider and the Client.

That is to provide customer service. That customer is the king. That when he irate do nottake it personal as he/sheis irate with the co not you personally.

That apart you also have to jude theperformance of the reps on the basis of the sample calls and chats (customer interactions over the phone or online ). If they make any FATAL error that could affect the process HYGENE and overall cusomer experiance then action has to be taken on the basis of findings of the Quality Analyst.

"Prevention is better than cure" is the approach which is adopted by QA (Quality Assurance). However, no matter how effective your QA is planned & implemented, QC (Quality Control) is also essentially required to have a reliable check on Quality.

Since Sampling & Inspection are the basic tools of QC, it is not recommended to stop dependence on them.  

Well if you go with Plan - Do - Check -Act Cycle, inspection is a necessary step to achieve quality and thus cannot be neglected

Good quality product should not be achieved through inspection and rework.  Instead it should be the result of a good quality process.  The production process should be improved and stabilized such that it has very small probability of creating defect.  Consequently, you will see that your inspection activity is getting more and more redundant.

Therefore, the better and more stable is your process, the less you will need to inspect the product.
