Be good enough and you will fear NOTHING. Let morals and ethics guide your way, regardless of them being "multi-interpretable, culture-related, personally-defined, situation-dependant" (blablabla). Be honest, do no harm to others, help the needy etc. In simple words, follow your own "bucket-list". All religions, all cultures & levels of society (= just people) have them!
I believe there is a thing called true goodness in a universal & culture, situation, place and time transcending way, away from "rationalizations" of evil deeds & embellishing euphemisms of "bad things" and lies. Inner tranquility cannot be made shaky by external fears.
A truly good person has nothing, absolutely nothing, to fear even if the whole world conspired against him/her.
Look to your past but dot not make it constrains you to see your future and meet your objectives.

Fear is the first step to failure but self confidence is anagent of success, so for you to succed you must eliminate that spirit of fear

Fear of past is nothing because there is nothing to fear as, in past, we have done already, so fear does not exist in the past. Yes there is fear for future as we are not sure what will happen.
As if we have to move forward, we should take positive what happened in the past and if something bad happened than we should take care not to get repeat it, this could be prevented if we have maintained a personal notebook where we write our experience and what we write with our hands, we merely forget that.
So, its the positvity only which inspires to move ahead and with inspiration confidence is attached naturally.
