What difference you do understand between `Responsibility` and `Ownership`?

Simply .... when you OWN something or some process or function, you may/should feel RESPONSIBLE for it.  

 

So, the way I see it, responsibility/accoountability follows (or should follow) ownership.  

 

However,  we see cases where IRRESPONSIBLE people "wash their hands off something"  when the shit hits the fan ....  despite the fact that they may stil claim its ownership.
