there is not such vast difference between compliance officer and risk analyst.i think both are interrelated to each other.

there is not much of a difference, both are related to the understanding of regulatory compliance requirements. It's role is related to corporate governance and and application of ethics. Compliance is mainly part of the control structure of the organisation. It provides real-time monitoring and correction of employee conduct and operations, whilst the Risk Analyst is focusing on the outcome or the analysation of the risks involved after every decision made.
