How To block facebook & Youtube using GPO or TMG 2010 ?

To Block URL such as Facebook, youtube Log on to TMG server>Open TMG consoleRight Click on firewall Policy>Click New>Click Access Policy>Actions:DenyProtocols:All Outbound TrafficSource:InternalDestination:Click Add>Click New>Select Domain Name Set>Type Name>Click Add & Type *.facebook.com & Click Add *.youtube.com Click OKNext>Apply Changes

in web access policy  --- HTTPS Inspection Enable

using TMG create firewall policy and block social media & media streaming categories using URL filtering

you can also block extentions like *.flv *.mp4 

TMG is better in doing that:

Block the traffic to media streaming websites. Try using URl Filters / Categories.

add them (addresses to block) to the hosts file (edit with notepad) and redirect address to127.0.0.1.

 or simply add rules blocking outcoming and incoming traffic from requested URL.

Block any outgoing and incoming traffic of the following:

youtube.com

*.youtube.com

faceboock.com

*.facebook.com

"each one in a seperate rule"
