Eating balance food and getting proper nutrients is always preferable.

in case of deficiency in vitamin C you should take both , but in normal case it's better to eat foods that contain Vitamin C

It is always better to take nutrients through food than taking suuplements

Eating a healthy foods that's contains a vitamins and menirals, you don't need to take a vitamins daily if you are applying a home remedy . fruits and vegetables, meats ,nuts milk. Avoid eating junk foods
