When you are dealing with the angry person within office or institution, immediate reaction should be avoided. This should be handled very diplomatically and professionally and have patience and maintain silence - listen to the whole conversation and after the flow of conversation is completed, he/she should be consoled and then the issues can be highlighted by being specific and not elaborating the conversation. The problem will be resolved and can find the solution. 

If the same is exceeded beyond the limits, there should be a committee to open up the issues and close the discussion, as the same should not aggravate to other activities. 

 

It depends on if you are his/her supervisor or colleague or subsistent.

If you are his/her supervisor, give him/her time and space to express him/herself. In that way you will be able to identify the reason of this  anger and you will find out if its related to the business or not. If its related to the business you will deal with that in business terms. If not you ought to approach the problem as a human being, without "leaving" your supervisory position.

If you are a colleague, then you have to deal with that with patience, flexibility and human approaching. If this doesn't work and his/her anger affects the business, then you are forced to address to your in-line manager to provide a solution.

If he/she is your supervisor, then things are a bit tougher and you have to be diplomatic. 

In any case and when things are out of the business range and whenever an attitude affects the business process and results, the hr department is always there.

Give him time to explain the reason for his anger. The ignition for a person’s anger might not be the current incident but coming from past experiences or related situations. if anyone have the time to talk about the reason he got angry he also get time to cool down and view his situation  from different perspective.

People tend to think and react different in similar situations and each situation should be dealt with individually.

First of all you should try to understand the reason of his anger. If possible you should uproot that problem. Secondly You should advise him in a gentle manner to be calm and cool rather than taunting him. You should also pray for him as many 'marvelous brains' in our society are rusted and irritated because of unwanted accidents and issues

Very interesting question, I must say no one has magical wand to change the course of an angry person yet if one follows the rules of anger management and try and understand the causes in person that makes him angry, he can deal with it suitably. One should be patience enough with such persons and let the frustration come out in form of anger and then discuss with them when the storm has passed.

A friendly environment should be created within the office premises so that each employee feel safe to speak up their ideas and creativity.

When someone gets angry,they must be treated politely and comforting them to express their ideology.They must be motivated.

If someone dealing with the angry person he must avoid a direct reaction or action, It must be handled professionally by being calm and silent for to mins and letting that person to completely express himself and listen to it completely, After that when the listener feels that the conversation and anger of that person is gone after that the problem should be easily discussed and solved.
