Every ambassador must market his country but unfortunately in our countries they don’t choose the right person

This must be well researched and well planned and preliminary contacts made and it can be very rewarding in terms of business growth.

No it is not waste of money.  Companies should look forward for potential customers as in a way or another they might be real customers.  Don't forget that there are competitors and so all will be fighting for gathering customers.

I don't think it is a waste of money,if you have a right product/service,right person with right attitude and right experience he/she should be able to market brand,service,commodity and it will build business globally this is how multinational companies or brands have emanated.
