specifically in The feeder or roller part of the printer, any foreign object inside the feeder will cause the error including bad insertion of paper. in some technical cases paper jam is possible without any foreign object in the roller, sometimes the roller sensor needs cleaning or the whole feeder assembly is defective.
Advise: if paper get stucked inside: push your carriage to the right then pull the paper towards the output tray. DO NOT pull towards the input tray.
A paper jam is a common error message in a printer.

· When a cartridge is bought sometimes by mistake the plastic tape that covers the nozzle is not open. Removing the tape resolves the issue.
· In some printers there is an option to clean the cartridges. The printer itself cleans the cartridge mechanism when grinding noise can be heard.
