Rinky, I think freshers always got more opportunities because they are ready to work with low wages.
Thank u Mr. Iqbal for your responce, but I am talking about UAE market, here every company is looking for experienced individual, no one ready to hire fresher, it doesn't matter how capable or enthusiatic you are....HR will reject your CV.
It is a catch22 situation. You have to work to gain experience and have experience to work.
A fresher should think of doing something entrepeneurial based on research and where they can improve on what is already out there. People will notice it and seek to hire the individual.
Opportunity knocks in strange ways.
Over here some prospective employers will phone the secondary/tertiary institution to see what kind of student the individual was.
Here I say, it depends upon the requirement of the company and even sometime company molds it requirements for preferring freshers over experiencer.
Even if you are HR Officer or having any senior position in HR, you would not keep a person who will take over your position or giving you face to face confrontation, accordingly others follow the same.
Also it depends upon heirarchy of HR department, how big heirarchy they have, accordingly they can fit a candidatae within that heirarchy according to the requirement of the comapny.
i think the issue have a point..,
in my country, most of the fresh graduates applied to different firms and offices as volunteer!
at least they are earning their experiences.
