In banking experience is more important , as at the time of education you practice theory and not practical , even MBA students who take finance hardly any one experience hard core finance and in banking with changing economic condition u need to change also, but yes this is also that a special zed knowledge is also required to know the solution of problem.

experience of having achieved is paramount rather than opt for graduates that only have theoretical knowledge. However, there needs to be balance to enable the older experienced professional to pass on and develop the next generation.
