It depends on your position in your competitive landscape and your resources (fainancial and non-financial).

I would always choose organic growth. Even if the process (of production, sales,...) is already developed in the company you can acquire, I will always trust my work and the work of my team better in a way that if I developed processes of transport, sales, production myself, because I trust we will develop it in a way it can grow and "eat market"  fast.
