Prove that you are a fantastic addition the company sales team. Using the experience and education you've listed on your resume, you want to explain how that experience translates directly into a solution for this company. Don't be afraid to use other sales techniques, testimonials, listings of benefits, guarantees, to make your case is as strong as possible.
When you are applying for a sales position don't forget to SELL! Your sales cover letter is actually a sales letter selling YOU to the company.

2. State how you can make it happen for them. How your skills will improve and further their growth. Show them you will be a valuable asset to them in a single line.
3. Adding a touch of classy humor goes a long way. Laughter can get you in or out of alot of things. When used in proper manner it may further your chances. Be gentle with it.
4. What about your traits? Never self praise. Remember actions speak louder than words. Do you write a blog? Do you have any article published? If possible try to include a portal for them to discover more about you.

- How you implement the plan from marketing.
- Initiatives for boosting the Sales etc.
Do not add generalize thing or details, be specifc about your acheivemetns.
