DEAR PROFESSIONALS & FRIENDS , AM WORKING AS VOLUNTEER MODERATOR AT BAYT.COM SINCE APRIL2014 . MANY OF YOU HAS SEEN MY CONTRIBUTIONS ON BAYT.COM , I D'NT KNOW HOW IT WAS GOING BUT MY EFFORTS WERE HONEST . I HAVE ASKED FROM BAYT.COM ADMIN , LAST MONTH ,,, ABOUT THE MERIT CRITERIA OF ''' moderator of the month ""' . THEY SAID , IT IS ON PURE MERIT & CONTRIBUTIONS POINTS FOR THE LAST MONTH PERFORMANCE . I HAVE RECOMMENDED TWO NAMES FOR THIS MONTH ,, MR. DIVESH PATEL & MR. KRISHNA MOORTHY ... BUT THEY HAVE CHOSEN SOME ONE , ATLEAST I D,NT KNOW HIM ... ANY BODY ELSE HAS SEEN HIS CONTRIBUTIONS ON PREVIOUS MONTHS ? PLZ CORRECT ME ?
SO FROM TODAY I WILL NOT BE WORKING AS MODERATOR , I MAY CONTINUE AS A MEMBER . I WANT TO THANKS ALL THE FRIENDS & PROFESSIONALS , WHO SUPPORTED ME ALL THE WAY . REGARDS

If not, which I believe to be the case, it certainly is your choice not to remain a moderator.
Dear Zafar,
I too understand, may be their system is not updated regularly. Frankly i also not seen this month's 'Best Moderator' awardee of any contribution or any answer at all. I believed some greatly experienced & who are most active with practical question & some great answers like: You, Divyesh Patel, Vinod Jetley, Padma Kumar, Alex, Krishna Moorthy, Kathy & Nasir etc should had been considered for it.
But i have realized sometime back they may not constantly update their web links too as this is just an professional Interactions page & not their primary activity. (Though revenues should be through Adsense :-) )
Bayt.com, should look into the complain Mr. Zafar had mentined seriously. As most people are volunteer's contributing to the professional networking & all you guys with lots of experience add a great value without any consideration.
I too had some similar experience, though i don't much bother as for me my only purpose of being in this page is only because of able to interact with diverse professionals, Learn new things or learn different ways looking at things & share my knowledge which would enhance my skill-set & knowledge etc

ARE we all here to complain or to find better career job ?,,, so what moderator or not moderator ?,, FOR me it is all about finding good job ,, beside MR DIVYESH OR Others there reputation very high and he and others was and still very educated people ,,, Keep going friends ...

I am not a Moderator, not even applied for it. I believe in any job whether it is voluntary or for remuneration......we have to do justice to it. For me I was not at all active in the forum for the last2 months and I am not a moderator also, so not at all eligible in the first place itself.
To make the participants keeping engaged is a great work--whether it is by asking questions or with providing answers or encouraging the participants with voting on questions and answers. Since the inception of the concept "Moderator of the Month", I have not seen an eligible guy as that of "Mr. DIVYESH PATEL".
Just like elimination process in a "REALITY SHOW" Bayt is also giving hint indirectly.
i hope Bayt's consideration for this should be based on 'ATTITUDE' IN TOTALITY
I sympathize with the sentiments in your message and I urge BAYT to be more transparent and more professional in their dealings with the moderators. Personally, I see voluntary efforts with BAYT as a check with no bank to go to and no credit or account number in that bank to support .In a nutshell ,,,, it is worth nothing !!
The names suggested by you really deserve to win and become "Moderator of the Month'. I also don't know the person who is selected for it. I support your Protest and wish you Best Of Luck!

I understand your position ... I have been over5 years a volunteer supervisor and had many battles with the organization I been with ... from lost hours of my volunteers ... to loosing my records.....
I found that it was more rewarding keeping over400 children save; my volunteers appreciated what I did ... for me it was a full time job and after5 years I felt some one else need to replace me, since I was moving once again.
One day I had a surplice .. I been given an award from the Department of Defense for the service I had rendered to the community in which I lived for so many years....
The point of this story is ... there are people out there putting things right...
