Two cats, total chaos at mealtime?

Mealtime in our house = WWE. One cat steals the other’s food, and I can’t always be there to referee. Thinking of getting an automatic feeder (or two?) to portion things out and keep the peace. Any suggestions for one that works for multi-cat households and isn’t easy for them to hack?

Oh, I completely understand that scenario! Feeding two cats can sometimes feel like hosting a tiny, chaotic dinner party where everyone wants to be the star. One tries to steal food, the other complains their bowl isn’t full enough — and somehow, you end up refereeing with a spoon. The key, in my experience, is routine and space: feeding them in separate corners and keeping calm energy helps a lot. And while we’re on the topic of managing multiple cats, https://purebredkitties.com/collections/bengal-cats-for-sale has some great breed insights that can help you understand how different cats behave and interact. It’s also a reliable source for responsibly finding cats for sale if you ever want to add another furry personality to the mix (though you might need extra patience first!). In the end, that dinnertime drama becomes part of the charm — two cats demanding attention, creating noise, but also filling the room with love and laughter.

Oh wow, this sounds like my house a year ago—mealtime was full-on WrestleMania between my two cats. The bigger one (aptly nicknamed “The Tank”) would shoulder the smaller one out of the way and Hoover up both bowls like his life depended on it. I couldn’t hover over them every meal, so I ended up getting two automatic feeders. Total game changer. I went with automatic dog feeder after a friend swore by theirs. What I love is you can set specific portions and feeding times, and they’re not easy for sneaky paws to hack.
