Attitude. It is easier to acquire knowledge than changing attitude.

Whilst attitude is an advantage, the combination of both will be great.

Non of them without the other will be suffucient for hiring. I will not hire an applicant with good knowledge but with low attitude,at the same time good attitude is not a stronge reason for hiring.

 Any applicant show possesse both.

Attitude is number one I would say. It makes all the difference especially that knowledge can be learnt, skills can be acquired, but attitude cannot be taught. As an interviewer, in addition to the regular skills and capabilities checks, I always check on three things throughout the interview:

1- The candidate ability to build on his knowledge and learn new things therefore acquire new skills eventually. Candidates who think have already achieved a lot and are "too" proud of what they know and did might not be the best to hire. The candidate should of course show respect for what he achieved and learned but he should show capability and eagerness to learn and improve his knowledge and capabilities.

2- The personality that will help the candidate blend into the team. This is extremely important. Candidates who show high ego or believe they are better than most (or everyone) else might not be the best to hire. Candidates who show modesty and sometimes high level of respect to others might be a better option.

3- The approach and when dealing with harsh questions, people, and situations. Yes, we all deal with similar situations more often than never and one need to be sure the candidate can handle the situation appropriately.

We’re all people doing business around other people keep that in mind!

that is correct the combination of both will bean asset  to the company. BUT for the sake of argument, i will choose attitude will play first, then comes knowledge. Coporate values are in place in order that employees will emulate such as a paradigm of the organization in which it was built and stand. So must attitude to adopt, follow and implement such must be in a top list.
