Smart work can be defined as a method of working where a thinking/cognitive processes are involved in order to work more efficiently Working hard is a wonderful quality, but working hard may not necessarily involve higher thinking/ cognitive processes in terms of finding the best way to do things.. Working hard does not mean striving towards efficiency. I would however note that there are efficient workers who also work very hard.... Striving towards efficiency needs to be an non-negotiable goal for all organizations.
