A conference paper is normally written with sought goal of being accepted into a conference where the results could be presented to the public. Seminar papers usually include original work that is presented to the peers in an academic setting. Research papers are usually empolyed to carry one's own experiment and argument to be reviewd and published. A technical paper is where a new methodology is introduced and the reflected results are presented, usually shorter than a reseach paper.
