I think messages are faster to deliver the info.

Email is more official.

 

Times are changing, and one of the main issues people are focusing on as time passes is how to improve communication and make it faster and more reliable. However, this might be in the distant future, as email nowadays still has its advantages such as privacy and its professional aspect.

Intelligent CRM based messaging yes. Spam like mass voice or text messaging No. People are more likely to read and retain a text message than emails in the 100s in their spam or junk folders. Diwn side is text messages limit you to content size and media use because of charges possible on the client cell#. Cost is still higher consideration also for messaging outbound. But it is more likely to be read thsn an email.

Messaging might be faster as you can send and a person get a notification right away however email does the same thing and it has attachment feature where messaging doesn't give you lots of space for attachment. I still think it will not replace it.

Yes, I think massage will outpace email in the future. As because young generation are more into phone than computers. Pocket advertisments are gaining much more attention.

Almost every adult has a mobile accessory across all continents of the world whether poor or rich. This means it's more effective to use the messaging technique to reach many people literate or illiterate across the world. From where I come from, email technique is only known by the learned and almost half of my community don't have email addresses. So if someone comes with an inventive idea of using messages as means of communication I think it will have a bigger impact on the majority of the intended target customers. So Yes I think it will outspace emails Also messaging is simple easier and faster as means of communication than emails. More visible
