I am currently using the latest current Revit Release, the2104. It has integrated the Structural with MEP onto the Architectural aspects of BIM. Autocad2013 has introduced more enhancements to its already excellent commend arsenal. However both Applications require huge amounts of memory on your PC as well as graphic memory. Please note like the other person commented herein, AutoCad is Design & Draw, whilst Revit Is a Modeler. If you require2d sketches of a plan, elevation or section - Autocad. But should you require the whole package up to perspective - Revit.

actually i meant simple options like ' filter', using tab for multiple selection and so on - you can save a lot of time by this

it's not the goal, Autocad already got a few revit adjustment, but still Revit is a BIM modeling software, while autocad is a drafting and drawing program, it doesn't serve the purpose I think
