My personal opnion on this regards, to be you.

Team leadership has to come from the inside of the person, that he qwant th share the leadership with his team, give them some space of taking decisions, increase the level of confidence in themselves, lead not insutrcut, hand to hand working in some times, spread out the spirit of  loyalty among the team and the principle that they can rely on each other (not shift their work toeach other), if you reach to the level that they love to come to the work to meat the team every day, then your a secussful team leader.

Thatis my approch.

By believing that you are already a team lead. Not just think but BELIEVE and act accordingly

Welcome mostly the reason of the interview is the determinant of its operations and often mention the achievements achieved and successful after mentioning the location of our presence in the course followed and opportunities and problems in the way and then the distribution of tasks to the team by competence and then intervention to encourage the team in addition to suggestions that represent solutions and problems that hinder work

If the interviewers are good, they will describe hypothetical situations and ask about how you would go about managing, solving, reacting to those situations. They will use a mixture of technical challenges a team leader might face, and a lot of people, political, and management obstacles that are likely to reflect the challenges of the job.

The best way to answer these questions is to:

  1. Engage in active listening. Check with the interviewer regarding what you think the question is. Paraphrase it back to them. Ask questions to clarify the question. Do not make any assumptions without explicitly stating that you are making an assumption — and then state what that assumption is.
  2. Use real-world examples from your past, whenever possible. You don’t have to have gotten it completely right before. In fact, it can be good to describe how you addressed it in the past, what worked and what didn’t work, and what you learned from that — and how you would address it in the future.
  3. If you don’t have any similar situations in your past, be honest about that and describe your thought process and approach to figuring out the situation. Remember, at the end of the day, while experience is VERY important, there are always new challenges one hasn’t seen before and demonstrating your approach to new challenges is a critical part of demonstrating you are a good fit for the job.

If the interviewers are not so good, you should still find a way to answer questions using these approaches.

And remember, you are interviewing them, just like they are interviewing you, so be ready to ask them some questions about the company, workplace, team, etc. This will help you understand whether you want the job and will demonstrate that you are paying attention to the success factors, even before you are offered the position.

Hi Lana, Thank you for the invite.

Know and believe that everyone has the leadership quality in them, either they have not recognized it yet or probably have not got the opportunity to display.

For a team leader interview, its best to be yourself and rather than just stating leadership qualities, mention the situation where you have used one or more of the leadership qualities and achieved an appreciation for the same. A true leader does not need to prepare, they already stay prepared. You need to be confident and communicate efficiently which will definitely grasp the attention of the interviewer. Apart you can make yourself presentable and its advised to move your hands less while giving the interview. Consider yourself as a leader already and attend the interview. If you have no professional experience in this area but have ample knowledge of the same use that to give your interview. We just need to be smart, be able to adapt quickly and always show interest in learning more. Give yourself positive motivations and be bold, nervousness during the interview is a point of weakness be it for any role. All the best.

First and foremost the person has to have an experience in that field. If you are willing to examine the applicant via a questionair, it is possible, but the most important in leadership of a team is the previous experience, also the person dynamic and confident for sure.
