What are the ways of exploring the enhancement of the procurement process?

• 1st- i will check whether the org overalll  goals and objectives and determine to which extent the procurement process is aligned with the org over all business objectives. in terms of effecancy effectiveness, time, cost, etc
•  2nd will do an assessment on the org needs, and wants, assessment on the market sources suppliers contacts .(planning perspective)
• 3rd Budgeting, procurement process can face huging limitation in regards of budget so therefore to improving the procurement process in any org is by  to planning what to spend when and on what, this can be dont through annual or semi  annaual budgets that covers all the needs or what to be bought, reviewing this budget on monthly basis is required.
• 4th logistics department in general is always facing delays in handing over or delivering project needs, so 2 questions arise !!1- is the logistics synchronized with the proejcts needs, in terms of handlying over the projects requested items or products ? 2- is the logistics departement considering the added value of what ever they hand over to porjects ? do they know what projects values the most !so therefore priorities planning is very essential at this stage 
• from the 2nd step the market assessments helps in making a pool of suppliers which helps in determining which suppliers can satisfy logistics needs in a professional way then maintain healthy relationship with those  suppliers, as its well known logistics are the best customer to suppliers, some of the delays of the logistics or procurement process is related to suppliers, this healty relationship is about clearly stating the roles and responsibilities of each party. keep in my mind to have this suppliers pool updated monthly.

•         Broaden the possible suppliers, contractors and service providers as they will always compete with one another to give the best possible quality or the lowest possible price. If a supplier, contractor or service provider should become unavailable, you’d automatically have a backup if it had become necessary.
•         Ensure openness, communication, and accountability during the procurement process between suppliers, logistics, yourself as purchaser, as well as any third party involved to guarantee smoother and more effective transactions.
•         Acquire the sought quality of services, or supplies at the best possible price. The required quality will have to be based off the objective set by the organization and tasks to reach the objectives will also have to be considered during procurement.
