Marhaba Nadjib,

It is not really possible to 'make' an employee have desire or enthusiasm. It is possible to increase their desire and enthusiasm by finding out what motivates them, what is important to them.

Some things that might motivate people are:

- recognition/award

- raise or bonus

- chance to increase skills

- opportunity for promotion or leadership (whether temporary or permanent)

- extra time off

- personal parking space (whether temporary or premanent)

There will be more. However, the most important thing is to find out what is important to this particular employee. They will not all be motivated by the same things.

If you give a person everything they will never learn but teach a person to fish and he will succeed.  This proves that let a person learn from their mistakes and they will learn from where they have failed and succeed.Be coachable as this will be a positive factor in life opportunities.

You must want to succeed and if you want it bad it will definitely happen, I learned the hard way and success was at my door step when I did the things I must do without waiting for people to tell you or show you.

Never fear people in any walk of life but challenge them in other words never be bullied into doing what others tell you to do then you doing the right thing for yourself.

Mix or socialise with successful people then you will be a successful person.  Learn from them fast.

Judge not lest you will be judged in the same way.  This effects many individuals as Jealousy is the culprit for many things going wrong .

Learn to be a giver generously and soon one day generosity will be yours others will help you too.

Learning is an art and a technique which comes from experience and the inner voice that tells you find yourself and believe you can do it,  Success happens to those who challenge the path of their growth.

Do not be cross if a mentor is telling you your faults only then you will learn from them and achieve the mark.  Look in the mirror and tell your self : I can do this and positive thoughts make it happen.  Dream great and you will be among the first ten achievers.

Compliment at least one person everyday and learn one new thing every day.

It only takes a little effort to make things happen whether it is in your job or in your life.  Have a song in your heart when you are in doubt.

Sing aloud and say positive mantras till you are effective in your goals.

Meet and talk to people who support you and want the best for you always.

Be open to criticism as this factor will make you strong and want to win.

And never say never as the impossible is attained when you have been challenged hard enough.

The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.

What does that mean? To me, he is saying that excellence comes from your desires.

The desire to win, to succeed, to extend yourself to reach your full potential. These are the beneficial side of desire, the motivation to excel and move beyond your present level of ability. Personal excellence, what does that say, it means to believe in yourself and learn the ways of your mentor, Be confident and take risk in order to be where you want to be in your job or your life.

A person learns everyday and he must remember the little things that make success possible going the extra mile without counting or expecting from anyone.  Be flexible and learn everything do not pick and choose.
